In my first DA blog post, I outlined my next set of plans. My DA research topic is what different game experience cross-platform games bring to players on different platforms, and I will consider the future development of cross-platform. I have received feedback and suggestions from my classmates, including that my research scope is too broad, and examples are not enough. I will improve and revise my next blog, and I believe I can improve my research.
Sonny’s comment:

His opinions were very detailed, and he gave good examples for me to think about my DA. He mentioned that league of Legends has a different experience on the PC and mobile platforms, and that the mobile version is a better experience because it’s easier to play. I’ve played both versions of League of Legends myself, so I think so too. The first game that came to mind when I chose this theme was League of Legends. I may not have mentioned examples in my last blog post, but I will focus on improving the next blog post.
On the other hand, he mentioned that I needed to focus on a specific topic to research and suggested an example of that was the changing model of game companies. I am very grateful to him for his advice and good examples, which made me understand my lack.
Jason ‘s Comment:

In my first video presentation, he asked me a few questions that helped me think about the imperfections of my research. My research topic is about different game experiences brought by different game platforms. I understand that the experience of a game on two different platforms is different. For example: PC vs mobile, or PS4 vs WILL. These platforms all use different controls, so the experience is relatively different. For gamers, even if two people are playing the same game, they have relatively unfair experience on different game platforms. I’ll look for more examples to explain this.
I am very grateful to their comments, and I know how I should enrich my DA research in the future. I will search for more information about my final DA product. Look forward to my next blog post, Thanks!
Finally, I also provided some suggestions to them, hoping to help them!
